A specialist Development Monitoring consultancy working closely with development lenders is seeking an experienced Development Monitoring Surveyor to support continued growth from its London base.
The business works predominantly with private equity and specialist development lenders across high-quality residential and commercial schemes. Projects average around £40m in value, with regular exposure to significantly larger and more complex developments.
The opportunity can accommodate candidates from Senior Surveyor through to Associate Director level. The emphasis is less on title and more on finding technically capable Development Monitoring Surveyors who can provide high-quality advice, exercise good commercial judgement and build strong relationships with lenders.
For somebody currently handling smaller schemes, there is considerable scope to progress into larger and more complex projects while working alongside an experienced monitoring team.
The Role
You will manage your own portfolio of lender-funded developments, working directly with clients and providing commercially focused advice throughout the development lifecycle.
This is a judgement-led role within an experienced team. Individuals are given considerable autonomy and trusted to manage their own work, with support available when required.
The emphasis is predominantly on delivering high-quality Development Monitoring work rather than being driven by individual business development targets.
