The Opportunity
A leading construction consultancy is launching a new Building Consultancy division and is seeking a senior building surveyor to lead it. This is a rare chance to establish and grow a business function within an established, successful practice.
Some building surveying work is already coming into the business, providing a base to build from. However, the incoming leader will be expected to set the direction, grow the client base, and recruit a team to deliver high-quality services across multiple sectors.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a new Building Consultancy department
- Define the service offering and set a clear strategy
- Deliver professional building surveying services at a senior level
- Develop new business and expand client relationships
- Recruit, mentor and manage a team
About You
- Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS)
- Senior experience (Associate Director, Director or Partner)
- Proven business development and fee generation skills
- Leadership and people management experience
- Commercially minded and entrepreneurial
